I finally bought the domain last night. Satire Detector is a browser plugin that the world NEEDS. Especially people who are fooled by The Onion articles. Believe it or not, though, there are plenty more satire sites besides The Onion! Many even try to make you think they’re a real news source(nytimes.com.co? really?)! This plugin’s mission is to prevent satire articles from being spread as fact.
There is currently no release date predicted. Considering this will be my first browser plugin, expect it to take a while. It will be released for Google Chrome first, because that’s what I use. Then Firefox, then Internet Explorer. I might try Safari, but Apple’s browser has been Mac-only for a while now.
